Plagiarism Policy

  • The following rules are accepted by the authors submitting an article.

-For each article submitted to our journal for publication, a report on similarity check using programs such as Crossref Similarity Check, Turnitin, iThenticate must be uploaded to the system. The author is primarily responsible for this process.

-At any stage of the process, similarity checks can be made by the Field Editors using programs such as Crossref Similarity Check, Turnitin, iThenticate.

-The overall similarity rate should not exceed 20% except for bibliography and methodology. Articles with a similarity rate above 20% are sent back to the author without entering the referee process. In this case, authors can edit and resubmit the manuscript within 1 month.

-The similarity rate from a single source should be less than 6%.

-Field Editors can check for similarity during or after the refereeing process.

-Regardless of the similarity rate, in case of any kind of expression or blocks of similarities taken from a source and not referring to the relevant source, the work will be returned to the author without being taken into the evaluation process.
