Article Submission and Writing Guidelines

Submitted manuscripts are first reviewed by the Pre-Evaluation Committee. If deemed appropriate, they are included in the peer-review process. Manuscripts not complying with the submission rules may be returned to the corresponding author for revision, formatted by the editor, or rejected directly.

Review Process:

  • The editor or chief editor assigns two reviewers who are experts in the relevant field (double-blind review system). Therefore, author-identifying information should be provided on a separate cover page.

  • Submissions must comply with the journal’s aims, scope, publication ethics, and policies.

  • Articles may be written in Turkish or English.

  • Turkish articles should include a short abstract (250-300 words) and an extended abstract in English (1500-2000 words). Articles written in English may be translated into Turkish by the journal after acceptance. However, native Turkish-speaking authors must prepare the Turkish Title, Turkish Abstract, and Turkish Extended Abstract themselves.

  • Plagiarism reports (iThenticate, Turnitin, etc.) excluding references and methods section should be below 20% and uploaded to the system.

  • Studies using interviews, surveys, scales, experiments, etc., must state the relevant ethics committee approval or permission document in the Methods section and upload it as an additional file.

  • Articles should not exceed 7000 words, including appendices and references.
